You know what I love about December is the Christmas decorations you can see everywhere. The deco dekat Malaysia pun dan macam cantik gila, I macam nak sangat pergi overseas during Christmas to enjoy the decorations yang sure lagi gempak gila macam dalam cerita Home Alone!
Belonged to a family yang berdarah kacukan dan mempunyai perbezaan agama memberi peluang pada I untuk menikmati keindahan dan kemeriahan Christmas bersama keluarga. I still remember those times when I was still a kid, December was my favourite month after Raya. Before Christmas usually my grandparents,aunties and uncles will ask all the children "What do you want for Christmas?" while jotting it down on their lists. I pernah minta Barbie Dolls, painting set, clothes, books, and banyak lagi.
Every year on Christmas eve, kami akan berkumpul dan makan sama-sama. Hidangan wajib ada ialah roast turkey which is one of my favourite. And I love my grandpa's homemade mashed potatoes and roast lamb too. While waiting for the clock to hit 12midnight, we usually sit and have a long chit chat,watching christmas movies, playing music. Bila jam ting tong bunyi 12midnight je, semua akan share hugs and kisses, wishing everybody Merry Christmas, and changing presents among them. Kadang-kadang akan nyanyi lagi-lagu Chistmas. This is the time when the children are all happy and excited to open their presents.
I really miss those time when I feel the excitement of unwrapping my own Christmas presents sebab bila dah besar, semua rasa tu macam dah biasa sebab I lagi enjoy the food than the pesents. Haha.
This year my family will celebrate Christmas in Port Dickson. Can't wait to meet the ralatives!
